Internet history video
February 1, 2010Today in class we finished the internet video, now I kinda have a thing for the history channel and learning the history of things, espcially electronics, so I found the video actually intersesting. Now the part that really caught my attention was just how in the time it has been since that movie was made we have changed the way we look at the web and use it for. Just looking at some of the “current” things they were using on the movie like the high speed modem or the computers them selfs have changed to even faster and smaller devices. I can seriously say that peoples life revolves around the internet and staying connected at all times. I am one of the people who use the iphone, and I use it to access the web more than I use my computer. But the most common thing that I do on the web is video games. What would the orginal founders do if they knew that this idea of linking computers at a couple colleges would eventually evolve to something that millions of players get on to not share a message or a file, but to just simply do entertainment? or simulators?
Nice job on the posts. You should use the Pages feature to add some pages that will make this more like a Web site.
